Girls at Maidenfire
Girls at Maidenfire get to experience a kind of freedom, confidence, and connection that just doesn’t happen in everyday life. In the safety of a women-only space, girls get to explore without needing to be constantly watched or controlled. They are free to experience themselves as capable and confident. From this place of autonomy, girls form deep friendships and build a sense of self that will stay with them for life.
While girls are free to choose what they attend, activity options include arts and crafts, wild foraging walks, fairy festival, herbalism for kids, teen circles, body wisdom workshops, and more!
During any adult women-only activities there will be girls’ activities to keep the younger ones occupied. However, girls age 4 and under should still have an adult with them. If you have a young daughter, we suggest bringing a friend so you can attend some workshops child-free!

Meet our Youth Leader, Emily Poe!
Hey there!
I'm Emily and I'm so excited and honored to serve as the Youth Leader at Maidenfire this year! I've walked with children and families as a caretaker and guide for the past 13 years as a postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, nanny, teacher and mother.
I'm a passionate believer that investing in mothers and children is investing in a better tomorrow, and what better way to do that than through play, creativity, and togetherness. My intention is to draw your girl in with presence and safety, helping her find a deep sense of belonging within herself and the group.
My prayer is that this felt sense of safety and belonging carries through into their daily life as they traverse this crazy beautiful world as young women. As a co-leader of Living Tree Learning Co-op based in Denton County, I've seen crayons, yarn, glitter and paper turn into living creations that walk children right to their joy and aliveness.
In a container held with love, safety and intention, your girls will come home with more than coloring sheets. They’ll come home with memories that will last a lifetime.
